I had started to make the components for two Cherry end tables for our living room about 2 years ago. These will match the other Cherry Shaker style pieces that we already have. I have the leg stretchers, and drawer front roughed out from solid Cheery. The side and back aprons are Baltic Birch covered in Cherry veneers.
I have made a drawing in SketchUp, as shown below, that shows the type of tables I want to build. I am also an online member of Fine Woodworking and I have also found a set of plans for a Shaker style end tables, one with a turned leg and one with the legs tapered using a taper jig. I will have to study which one to build and get the additional pieces milled..
I will make a video for the build during the construction. Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUjh0T6dqU4UQKeVlJGaR2A
See you in the Workshop!
