Small Zebra wood bowl

Well today I am making a small Zebra wood bowl for my brother’s wife. My brother has plans to make a coffee table with Zebra wood top and another typw of wood for the legs and apron. The piece I am starting with is approx 6″ round and 2″ thick. I finish the piece with Mylands friction polish.
I found the Zebra wood a little more challenging to turn as it is a hardwood and the tools havee to be sharp and catches can happen quickly if the tool is presented wrongly
Until next time take care in your shop, stay safe and bye for now.
I hope to see you on down the road!
